Florida native plants · Parrish, FL

Wildflowers, shrubs, and trees grown for the butterflies, the pollinators, and the Florida summer. Right here in Parrish, since 1995.

Walk the rows
How they work

When a customer needed a plant they didn't have in stock, Rich and Tom drove to south Florida to get it.

That is the whole operation: two people who know these plants, a lot of pots, and no interest in selling you something that will not make it through a Florida summer.

A nursery row with purple liatris and yellow wildflowers, a hand-lettered Beautyberry plant tag, a weathered pole barn, and sunlight breaking through the oak canopy

Even the tags are handwritten. This one says Beautyberry.

What we grow

Seven ways into a native yard.

Florida native plants

The whole reason Sweet Bay exists. If it's not native, it's not on the tables.

Butterfly & pollinator plants

Firebush and passionflower for zebra longwings and monarchs, grown to actually get worked by them.

Wildflowers, shrubs & trees

Pink muhly grass, purple beautyberry, coontie, sweetbay magnolia. Real Florida understory.

Ferns & ornamental grasses

Texture and shade cover for the parts of the yard the sun never quite reaches.

Native landscape design & install guidance

Tell us the yard and the light. We help you place plants that will still be there in ten years.

Organic soil, mulch & fertilizer

The same beds we grow in, bagged for yours.

Bird, bat & bee houses

For the parts of the yard the plants alone can't finish.

What customers say
Both Rich and Tom immediately contacted me and got on the search right away. They even drove to their wholesalers in south Florida to purchase for their nursery but included my desired plants.

This is a great location if you are looking for native plants! Awesome variety and super nice people. We were there looking for butterflies and they were more than accommodating to us out-of-staters.

I only wanted to plant Florida native plants but most nurseries do not have a great selection. This nursery has a great selection of healthy looking plants. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this nursery.

About this preview

I built this for Sweet Bay Nursery. Here's how it becomes real.

This preview is temporary. It comes down two weeks after I first send it your way — the follow-up email has the exact date. If you want it finished, I finish it: the full site built out, the AI-visibility layer that gets Sweet Bay Nursery into AI search answers, and 90 days of tweaks after launch.

Websites start at $1,497. Most land between $1,497 and $3,500 depending on size, and I confirm the exact number with you before any money moves.

If anything I ship is broken or incomplete, I fix it at no charge. No contracts; everything after launch is month to month.
